Football is a sport that has brought many emotions to the United Kingdom. From rising victorious in 1966 to win the World Cup to Harry Kane’s missed penalty in 2022, football is full of passion from both players and fans alike. The excitement in the office is therefore imaginable when the message arrived from Cardiff City FC about partnering with the club as their official watch partner. 

This partnership was rather unexpected but it came at the perfect time for Watches of Bath. Over the past couple of months, with our pieces now being listed on Chrono24, our client base in South Wales has grown exponentially. We were invited to meet the partnership team and tour the Cardiff City Stadium and it was there that we realised the history behind this club and what we could achieve as a partner of Cardiff City. Watches of Bath has signed a partnership for the current 2023/24 season and also for next season, 2024/25, which will see the Watches of Bath logo visible on the sleeve of the playing shirt. 

A key point for us though was to be actively involved in women’s football. Following on from the success of the Lionesses, the participation and awareness around the women’s game became of real interest to Watches of Bath and being a partner of Cardiff City enables us to be a benefit to aspiring players. 

The club has a sense of ambition around them which is helped by the signing of Aaron Ramsay and hopes to push for a playoff place this year.
