The Watch Market Update: Watches & Wonders 2025 – New Models, New Momentum

April is always a landmark month in the horological calendar, and this year was no exception. The annual Watches and Wonders show once again delivered a flurry of excitement for collectors, enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.

From surprise model releases to stunning new dial colours and key brand announcements, Watches and Wonders 2025 has reignited energy in the market and it’s already having a noticeable impact.

A New Era for Rolex: Introducing the Land-Dweller

Perhaps the most talked-about moment of the show came from Rolex, with the official debut of the Land-Dweller. This is a truly historic release marking the first completely new model family from Rolex since the Sky-Dweller in 2012. Positioned as a rugged and adventure ready timepiece built for extreme environments on land, the Land-Dweller has already sparked significant conversation and anticipation within the collecting community.

The model not only breaks new ground in terms of functionality and design but also signals Rolex’s willingness to expand its core lineup something that rarely happens and always gets the market talking.

Oyster Perpetual: Pastels Make a Comeback

In another eye-catching move, Rolex unveiled new dial colours for the Oyster Perpetual, bringing a softer, more playful aesthetic to the collection. The return to pastel tones including pistachio green, lavender and beige echoes the massive success of the vibrant 2020 collection, but with a more refined and contemporary twist.

Collectors immediately took notice. These new OP models are expected to follow in the footsteps of their colourful predecessors with strong demand and limited availability driving interest in both retail and pre-owned markets.

Tudor Turns Heads with Burgundy Black Bay 58

Tudor also had its moment with the release of a new Black Bay 58 in burgundy, featuring a matching dial and bezel. The result is a striking and cohesive design that feels both vintage-inspired and modern. Given the enduring popularity of the Black Bay 58 line. This new colourway has been well received and is already appearing on the market.

It’s another reminder that Tudor continues to evolve, refining its core models while introducing fresh variations that resonate with a broad audience.

A Reinvigorated Market

The impact of Watches and Wonders is already being felt across the secondary market. There’s a noticeable uptick in buyer confidence and interest especially in recently discontinued or updated models. Watches that may have been quietly sitting are suddenly in the spotlight again, as collectors position themselves ahead of price movements or potential shortages.

In response to this renewed momentum, we’ve significantly increased our inventory, ensuring we can meet the rising demand. From the latest references to rare discontinued pieces, we’re curating a diverse and exciting selection.
