Piece of the Month: Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41mm – Yellow Dial
Every so often, a watch comes along that truly captures the spirit of its era bold, fresh, and unapologetically different. This month’s Piece of the Month is just that, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual with a striking yellow dial, a standout in both design and collectability.
Released as part of a vibrant refresh of the Oyster Perpetual line in August 2020, this bold yellow dial was one of several new colour variants that instantly made waves in the watch world. Drawing comparisons to the vivid tones of the vintage Rolex "Stella" dials of the 1970s, the yellow Oyster Perpetual brought an unexpected pop of colour to a model known for its timeless versatility.
Available in 31mm, 36mm, and 41mm, the yellow dial variation was one of the most daring and arguably one of the most sought-after options. But its moment in the spotlight was fleeting. Rolex discontinued this colour in April 2022, making it part of an extremely limited production window and fuelling its rapid rise in collectability.
The piece we are proud to feature this month is the 41mm version, the largest in the range and arguably the most visually commanding. First registered in 2021 it represents a near-perfect combination of contemporary style and Rolex heritage. With its clean lines, no-date dial, and signature Oyster case and bracelet, this watch strikes a balance between boldness and classic design.
As with all our featured pieces, it comes as a complete set, including:
-
Outer and inner Rolex presentation boxes
-
Warranty card
-
Instruction and model booklets
-
Green and white Rolex swing tags
The watch is in excellent condition, reflecting careful ownership and minimal wear. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or someone looking to add a splash of colour to your watch collection, the yellow dial Oyster Perpetual is a compelling and charismatic choice.
Now discontinued and increasingly difficult to find especially in 41mm this is a modern Rolex that’s already earning vintage-level admiration.
